About Me
Hello! I’m Connie Rohne! I’m a born romantic… I love relationships. I love seeing people loving each other – and capturing that forever. I want to help make people live in the moment. I want my photographs to remind people of what’s important in their lives and make decisions that will protect those relationships. I love art, quality and fun; and have the ability to put the three together to tell your story and create artistic images.
For that reason, I am a people photographer, specializing in family portraits (from babies to engagements). And I absolutely love it! I serve the greater Grand Rapids and West Michigan area, but also do destination special events. I have a Bachelor of Science in photography, have been a member of Professional Photographers of America, and published in Shutter Magazine, the Knot Magazine, West Michigan Women’s Magazine, Midwest Hardware and various other publications.
When I photograph families and individuals, I almost never just do posed portraits (which I make sure are absolutely gorgeous of everyone). I try to schedule time for playful candids, where you look really natural and relaxed. They radiate your love for one another.
Outside of photography, I love my husband and kids, animals, pizza and chocolate, but the order changes from day to day. I am passionate about my relationship with Jesus and it affects everything I do.
